Shuf are stoked to report that Gottwood Festival is returning to the Anglesey Forest from the 11th to the 14th of June, 2015. The festival is a rarity on the UK circuit, dropping an eclectic blend of underground electronic music into the coastal haven of northwest Wales. In keeping with these surroundings the festival promises a ‘psychedelic fairy-tale’, compromised of tucked away stages, art installations, dance, projections, and graffiti flooding the forest floor.
The festival is also a family affair, with regular faces returning for next year. A whole bunch of brands, labels and hosts are invited by the festival to cast their own identity across the canopy, and contribute their distinct vibe to the festival experience. In 2015 Gottwood will welcome Jigsaw Presents, Boxford, Back To Basics, Brotherhood Sound System, Future Disco, Futureboogie, Hit & Run, Hypercolour, Jaunt, Louche, Nixwax, Real Nice, Road To Nowhere, Tief, Wigflex and Wolf. In addition to these names, Gottwood is welcoming some newer faces. Sounds of the Universe will be curating an entire day of live programming, Craig Richard’s The Nothing Special will be providing a distinctly obscure take on house, as well as Subban’s and Adam Shelton’s One Records bringing a more raw groove to the party.
Amongst the hum of the summer festivals Gottwood really is a gem, so head over to their website to keep up to date on further line up announcements. Or if you are already convinced, you can get hold of early bird tickets here.
