From April 250413 - 270413, BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) will reprise last years 2 day cultural showcase curated by Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National. It's a cocktail of film, composers, improvisers and some of the most acclaimed names in creative popular music. Headliners are Fallon's house band and seasoned slick noise magicians The Roots headlining Thursday night. Then comes a headline spot from one of the most talked about individuals in the world right now- Solange. Her recognisable blend of tight melody, exotic production and a unmistakably sleek style. Then the event will bow out to Brooklyn's very own TV On The Radio. Three solid headliners with the rest of the bill littered with buzz-worthy acts like the rapid-moving Parquet Courts, The Brooklyn Youth Chorus, Exitmusic and Dan Friel. It's an event that will either expose you to the best in whats to come or affirm the hype surrounding what's already here.
